Doing Our Part

Awhile back, we recieved a cute video of our California grands at the beach. It was so fun and sweet to see the youngest, doing his part, along with his sisters, helping to push the beach cart across the sandy terrain. I had to watch the video again and again. It was the first time, I had seen that little guy doing a big boy type of thing. And it was adorable!

It made me think. As we all grow in the Lord, there comes the time when we too can and should pitch in to do our part, to "lift the load" and serve those around us. It is in working together that the job gets done, in this life of the family of God!

So, as opportunity comes our way, let's gladly push on, helping the cart of the church, get to the final destination, that glorious forever beach along the river of life! Let's cheer each other along the way and help to lift the load, as brothers and sisters, trekking on through the sometimes difficult sands of life, with our sight on the glorious scene before us!
