Life's Tapestry

I love tapestries! Through the years, I have obtained a number of them. There was a time, when their beauty graced our home as part of my decorative touch. But then, trends changed and I fell prey to them. I came to love the grays, whites, and subtle tones of the more modern interior designs.
The various tapestries wound up in a closet. I still loved them. They were so beautiful, and held meaning for me, either with the actual image or the Bible verse they portrayed. As I cleaned the closet, upon random occasions, I could never bring myself to part with them.
And then came the day, when they once again, found a place and a home. After retiring from nursing, the Lord opened up a new direction for me as a Christian Life Coach. In an amazing way, God provided an opportunity to work with a wonderful ministry in the very next town! I was given an office which provided a wonderful place to display these tapestries. It was almost as if, they were made for that space, like they had been preserved for this purpose.
And along with the four gorgeous wall hangings that now grace those four walls, I have a plaque which ties them all together. It reads
"Our lives are God's tapestry, woven in love". Romans 8:28 is refereced as well.
I now, I know that this is not a new concept, but it is one that I am feeling compelled to share. It is such a beautiful and meaningul reality...
How many of us are going through things we just can't understand? Hard things, confusing things, "not the way I want it things". I want to encourage each of you, to hang on tight to the Lord. Trust Him in it all. Cling to the promise of Romans 8:28, that "all things work together for good to them that love the Lord....".
We don't always understand what He is weaving. We see the underside of it all, the knots, the jumbles, the confusing twists of life's yarn. But from God's perspective, it is all being woven together into a beautiful tapestry. To bring Him glory! Trust that someday, it will all be revealed, and that you will be able to behold its beauty, the tapestry of your life,
... woven by God's love
He hath made everything beautiful in his time KJV
