With Eyes Wide Open

Life is busy. Our own life can be consuming. We can find ourselves just looking at life in our own little world, unaware of all that lies beyond our own sphere of personal awareness.

But yet, the world is big, and hard and needy. We were created to have an impact. One that reaches out and beyond ourselves and our own little lives.

May we heed the Spirit's leading to be aware. To really see the world around us. To consider the hurting, the challenged, the needy. Sometimes that is us, and those we hold dear. But what about those other times. Do we care enough...

to really see? And then to respond? With care and compassion. With generousity and geographical influence beyond our own sphere?

It is when this occurs, that the Lord's love shines more brightly, that a greater difference is made, for all mankind.

So, may we each be prayerful that we could be more in tune and in touch, as we navigate this Jesus Journey, with our hearts and eyes....

wide open!
